The squad to US tour

The following are the 23 players to fly to US for the tour.  It tells 2 things:  (1)  Diouf and Vignal are probably on their way out, and (2) If according to Houllier's 24 player squad (ie, 3 goalies, 8 defenders, 8 midfielders and 5 strikers) we are short of one defender.

It's a pity to see John Welsh not in this squad though... But looks like Rafa is going to try Warnock or Whithread as the quick defender.

Sandy Lam and Jonathan Lee divorced.  Although this is not an unexpected news, the announcement of it still make me feed sad.  I started to be crazy in love with Sandy quite late, probably in early 90s after the song "因你瘋了" - a song that was never plugged, a song that when I first listened to in the radio, I was so shocked by how good it was, that it woke me up from the sleep.  After that Sandy became my #1 singer.

Cheer up, Sandy, we are always behind you, and we always love you too.

今天北京刮了一整天怪風，雨亦下得很兇。 無盡的灰洋洋自得，人的心情自然也沒好到哪。 天空的閃電叫我看見閃光燈，想起鏡頭前的我，那麼陌生。 沒有想到要為自己的婚姻狀況寫聲明，的確有一陣莫名其妙的荒謬感。 還是要多謝大家的關心，我想，我們都很好，亦做了一些準備。

A tribute to Marcus Babbel

Marcus Babbel left Liverpool and joined Stuggart.  I can still remember his performance in the Treple season, his goal in that 3-2 win vs Everton which kick-started the Treple, and the first goal in the 5-4 win in UEFA Cup Final.
 
Marcus, as you said, Liverpool is a special team.  And you are a special player in this team.  You'll never walk alone.

Czech lost....

Didn't watch the game, but obviously the injury of Nedved didn't help... Heard Milan has some good chances too...

Now I would think Portugal win win the Euro 04. Final score: Portugal 2-0 Greece.
