1-0 and a late goal by Kuyt sent us through to the last 16. We were in control in general although at times the Sparta counter attack did provide some scares, and at the end we are through despite a dull performance.

After a rollercoaster ride on the close of transfer window, we have two news forwards and two left. The team should be stronger, and it will be more closer to what King Kenny wants.
